About Cognitai

We care about the hour in the room. And the week‑long life around it.

Cognitai exists because life doesn't happen in pieces. Care shouldn't either.

Maximizing continuity, precision, and personalization in mental healthcare while minimizing clinician workload.

  1. The science already knows.

A person is biological, psychological, social. All at once.

Sleep shapes mood. Mood shapes relationships. Relationships shape sleep.

Care that works reads all three, together.

  2. But why couldn't practice work that way?

One hour a week, out of context.

Everything else, from memory. Theirs and yours.

Between them, a week you can't see. Full of fear, hope, and life.

  3. Where it started

    It began with explaining.

Fora, an honours student of psychology fascinated by where the mind meets biology, was already building Psyclick: the mental health science, explained, in the public's earbuds.

Through it, and through the people listening, she saw the gap. The science was there. Practice couldn't reach it.

  4. Where it turned

Then it became: let's fix it.

Abex, an innovator who had spent his career turning hard problems into products, saw the other half: the science was there, the technology was there, and mental healthcare was still waiting.

He said the thing that started the company: this shouldn't only be explained. It should be solved.

  5. And we made sure we listened to clinicians.

89 psychologists, therapists, and clinic leaders gave us their time and their honesty, one conversation at a time.

What they showed us, more than any gap: how much the people who deliver mental healthcare care.

  6. The best thing on this road

Some of them joined the mission.

We had the chance to be joined by people who care this much, from every side of care. That is what carried us.

  7. People who kept us honest

Kept us rooted in science and evidence.

Professor Simon Bacon advises us on scientific rigour, evidence, clinical relevance, and responsible innovation.

Every hour with him leaves us clearer about what is established, what is only possible, and where ambitious product work must keep its boundaries. It is a privilege to be held to that standard.

  8. People who gave us the confidence to go

Helped us build to last as a business.

Marina Massingham brings the vision of a company that lasts: business strategy, market development, positioning, partnerships, and growth.

Every hour with her turns a complex clinical and technological vision into something more focused and more sustainable, clearer about who we serve, which problems matter most, and how responsible adoption is achieved.

  9. People who brought the room with them

Kept us grounded in the realities of practice.

Dr. Bianca Lallitto brings the practising clinician's perspective and the realities of therapeutic work into how Cognitai is built.

What helps, what fits the work, and where the line is. We are lucky to have her eye on it.

  10. People who held us to the relationship

Held us accountable to the therapeutic relationship.

Dr. Valérie D'Amour-Horvat brings therapeutic context, professional responsibility, and human oversight to our decisions.

She asks whether a decision truly supports clinicians and respects each client. We are grateful she keeps asking.

  11. People who helped us build it

    Helped make it real.

Iktisad Rashid joined us to help build the platform, and contributed to it with care, skill, and generosity.

    We are grateful for it.

  12. Built from every chair in the room.

Psychologists. Clients. Clinic owners. Behavioural scientists. Innovators. Entrepreneurs.

Not consulted at the end. Building, from the start.

  13. So it works for all of them.

The psychologist gets presence. The client gets to be understood.

The clinic owner gets care that stays consistent. The scientist gets evidence, not hope.

  14. That is the bridge we built.

Not another dashboard. A quiet system that carries what matters from life into the room and back, with the clinician deciding at every step.

Innovating responsibly isn't our tagline. It's the job.

The clinician decides
Every output is theirs to accept or reject. Nothing is filed without them.
Every insight shows its source
Reviewable, evidence-linked, and explicit about uncertainty.
Privacy is the foundation
Not a footnote. It is the reason clients trust it and clinicians adopt it.
We reduce work
We never add a dashboard to study.
We respect how you already work
